Origin
The work, learned firsthand.
Renzulli Homes is led by Flavio Renzulli, a residential builder based in Marshall, Virginia.
Flavio's background is in high-end commercial construction. He spent more than twenty years as a project superintendent at three of the country's most exacting builders — Hitt Contracting, Shawmut Design and Construction, and Crown Construction — running multimillion-dollar buildouts for the Ritz-Carlton, Nobu, Smith & Wollensky, Cartier, Max Mara, and a long list of others where every detail is scrutinized and every deadline is non-negotiable.
Renzulli Homes brings that experience to a different scale. We work on a deliberately small slate of residential projects each year — new homes, renovations, additions, and pools — across Northern Virginia. The clients are different. The standard is not.
The practice is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and fully insured. Flavio is in the room from first conversation through final walkthrough.
Principles
How we work.
Restraint is a virtue.
Good building is about what you choose not to do — the second-best material left on the table, the trim profile thinned by a sixteenth, the wall plane held quiet so the room can speak.
The plan is the contract.
We draw it before we build it. Scopes and budgets are not estimates we hope to hit — they are commitments we work backward from at every step.
Tradespeople first.
We work with the same framers, masons, and finish carpenters year after year. They are not subcontractors; they are the practice.

The practice extends well beyond the office. We work with the same framers, masons, finish carpenters, and tile setters year after year — the same people who built work alongside Flavio on high-profile commercial projects, now scaled to the cadence of a residential practice.
